Date at Createaf Waffles

Ever experienced shopping along Orchard Road and then suddenly having pangs of waffles craving? And then started missing the crispy exterior of waffles, coupled with the fluffy inside and topped off with a scoop or two of ice cream?

This happens to me most of the times.

But the craving will be dispelled as sudden as it appeared because the rational voice in my mind always tells the greedy voice that the waffles in Orchard Road will be tagged with a heavy price tag and the quality doesn't justify the price.

Well, that was what I thought all along... until I came across Createaf Waffles, which is located at the heart of town but yet offers superb waffles with even better prices.

The waffles was really as what I had expected it to be, crispy on the exterior and fluffy inside. The strawberries and blueberries complimented the waffles very well since it was on the sour side. You know how the sweet taste of some waffles puts you off after a while? Well, this doesn't! I cannot rmb what flavour of ice cream we chose but the sweetness of the ice cream was just nice. It doesn't 'fight' for attention with the waffles. 

The Roselle Tea was really very refreshing! It was a mixture of sweet and sour, and tasted like Ribena since Roselle is the main ingredient in Ribena. And Roselle is a very good ingredient for relaxation, esp if you are those who tend to think too much, causing yourself migraine. It is a close friend of Rose, which is also great for relaxation. 

Overall, I think this place is really worth a visit, esp if you are in the area. It's not too pricey and they serve fresh waffles, almost a rarity in the town area.
